The founding team

Operators turned builders

A handful of people who spent years buried in status reports, follow-ups and spreadsheets built the tool they kept wishing for. The three things that hurt most became three parts of the product.

Between them they had watched every generation of productivity software promise to save time, then quietly add one more tab to check. Their conclusion was not that the tools were bad. It was that nobody had ever given busy teams a single place where the routine work actually gets done.

Every one of them had also seen an automation fire at the wrong moment and create more work than it saved. So the rule was set early: anything Acme AI does on your behalf carries the same checks a colleague’s work would, and can be stopped by the same people.
